Wow, that was fast!
But hey, you always have to wait so long, so I thought this time I speed up a bit . Enjoy!
And finally a new background, even if that's just the same old rocks but now deep in the night.

So, Rhon was able to survive Kaeroths' 'special task' and all he got from it, were some bruises. Oh and his life! Mh... I'm sure there could be better rewards xD.
But I guess, it's a good thing to be out of danger, at least for now and to see a friendly face. I really didn't want, that the first thing poor Rhon sees, is Kaeroth again, so I thought one of his old comrades is better.

For all newcomers here, Bolvar has already appeared earlier fav.me/d5348iq and will not play an important role in this comic. I just picked him out of the patch, since I somewhat liked his design. All other recruits are dead now... only bad news for Rhon .

Oh well, let's see what happens next...Β

I'm rereading the comic. I'm just as impressed as I used to be ^^ but did queen Aurora really die? Or did I miss something?

Thank you , it really means alot, since it is hard to be senn with an original story. I think you know that too, right ?

Yes, Aurora died on the previous page, but I didn't show it.
And it even makes sense, somehow: Since Rhon is telling this backflash to Aarok, he can only tell what he saw, and since he was laying nearly k.o. on the ground, he only felt, how Aurora was push off his body. He did not see, how Nolda killed he but I bet she broke her neck or something like that. But I think it was a bit silly not to include her dead body in front of him, like he just mentioned.

Ah, maybe I'll make some more scribble scenes from battles, I wanted to add, but scrapped them, since they would take too long. Especially, when you're as slow as I am.

It's not hard to tell an self made story that isn't part of a fandom...But it IS hard to make a GOOD self made one. And I think you did a great job on it! I hope to see more of the elves or other creatures some time though! Moar diversity aww yiss!

aww :C I hoped an other black dragon could have surviced so Aarky wouldn't be alone...then again, Aurora wouldn't have been the nicest black dragon to survive in that case...Maybe there will be more in your story, who knows! I remember that in the old Reborn Heroes comic of mine that there were many black dragons left, they just lived elswhere..oh who cares XD

An nah, you just keep going with the comic as it is. I guess that will be good enough already But if you ever had the time and motivation, i'd love to see those!

Ahhh! Love the small details in this!

Bolvar looks so darn cute and I can't help but think Tazeera and Valrion are a 2 man commando - rekd pretty much everyone lmao I wonder tho, did those 2 fall then? D: But hell that must of been one serious slaughter D:

Can't wait for the next page

Thank you, I was afraid, they wouldn't strike out ,since the page is so dark. But hey, it's night..

I dunno why, but I felt the same about him. He has so innocent big eyes :3
Valrion and his daughter are surely some nasty enemies, but yes, all black dragons are dead .

Next page is up ... finally...

Ha ha, Rhon's eyes are even bloodshot after a grueling battle. Β Poor bugger, now we'll have to see what happens later. Β Love your comic as always, keep it coming.

I tried to make him a little bit dirty and beaten up. Aurora was not really nice to him ,after all.

a little hard to see this page.
interesting about the outcomes of war, they won the battle, but a lot were sacrificed to achieve their goal.

I like the fact that the Reds are at least showing some respect to their enemy by burning the fallen, shows they aren't all that heartless.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Aarok In reply to Manar-Darkwing [2014-04-08 16:28:29 +0000 UTC]

Indeed, that's what I wanted to express with it. Besides, they want to claim this land as their own now, so I doubt, that it would be comfortable to be sourrounded by slowly rotten bodies. Ans the smelll... no no...

Manar-Darkwing In reply to Aarok [2014-04-09 01:07:54 +0000 UTC]

That also makes sense. Wouldn't want to start a family or something with rotting flesh everywhere.

Worth the wait and great page, explaining and the burning of the bodies is perfect to add in there. Great details and story.

Aarok In reply to TheOracleDragon [2014-04-08 16:32:13 +0000 UTC]

Thank you, well something had to happen with the corpses and I doubt that they would do it like the Albae and use their bones to create art. Nor did I want that they do something, well 'cannibalistic', so burning is good.

Bolvar is quite a tough fella to survive~ Secretly I'm happy that it was him, not any pinky red c: It appears that Rhon was lucky to be picked as I believe his fate could be not different from the rest of recruits.
Also it's a bit relieving that blackies didn't go that easy.

I'm up for the continuation as I sense that we're very close to what we wanted to know :3

Aarok In reply to RusCSI [2014-04-08 16:33:50 +0000 UTC]

Maybe he played dead :3 ... they ar not pink, they are... eh were... magentaRED ^^ But it somehow looks like pink, I have no idea, why.

Oh yes, Rhon sure was lucky and would have been killed aswell, if he stayed with his companions. Would've been a waste of talent.

I like 'em pink, such a "kawaii" red dragon xD

And the complete extintion of the black tribe, I believe; if it wasn't Rhon who found Arki, who knows what'd happen to the little chabby blackie.

"the patient ones will have the reward"...... and it was worth the wait

You know if they have take big losses here...not to mention the upcoming losses when they attack the human kingdom ..... how is the current strenght of the red tribe , i mean it was a miracle they have not become extinct with the blood spilled from the reds...:/...if there are not others tribes ?...Is like they against the world.

in my words from my fandom , Khorne will have been pleased with the blood spilled from this clan.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Aarok In reply to BloodDragonJL [2014-04-08 16:48:38 +0000 UTC]

You have good thoughts here.
The Red Dragon Tribe is weakened after this fight, since the Black dragons killed alot of their warriours. Moncagnarak was stupid enough to take many unexperienced warriours with him, he wanted to overwhelm Valrions tribe with a mass of dragons. So his 500 dragons fought against maybe 150 Blacks, and many of those were children, younglings and elders. So it was clear, that the Reds will be victorious in the end, but they had get losses.

The biggest tribe after this massacre, are the Earthcrawlers, but the were allies of the Red ones. However after that, those two split up and became enemies.

This is a rule or each war, the young soldiers thinks that will be easy war and fast(like have been told to them by country leaders) while veterans know real face of that
