I'm rereading the comic. I'm just as impressed as I used to be ^^ but did queen Aurora really die? Or did I miss something?

Thank you , it really means alot, since it is hard to be senn with an original story. I think you know that too, right ?
Yes, Aurora died on the previous page, but I didn't show it.
And it even makes sense, somehow: Since Rhon is telling this backflash to Aarok, he can only tell what he saw, and since he was laying nearly k.o. on the ground, he only felt, how Aurora was push off his body. He did not see, how Nolda killed he but I bet she broke her neck or something like that. But I think it was a bit silly not to include her dead body in front of him, like he just mentioned.
Ah, maybe I'll make some more scribble scenes from battles, I wanted to add, but scrapped them, since they would take too long. Especially, when you're as slow as I am.

I tried to make him a little bit dirty and beaten up. Aurora was not really nice to him ,after all.

a little hard to see this page.
interesting about the outcomes of war, they won the battle, but a lot were sacrificed to achieve their goal.

I made the next night page a bit lighter, I hope this helps.
Yes, war often leads to several innocent victims.

That's right, not all red dragons are heartless killers, otherwise it would be way too much of a klichee.

I like the fact that the Reds are at least showing some respect to their enemy by burning the fallen, shows they aren't all that heartless.

Indeed, that's what I wanted to express with it. Besides, they want to claim this land as their own now, so I doubt, that it would be comfortable to be sourrounded by slowly rotten bodies. Ans the smelll... no no...

That also makes sense. Wouldn't want to start a family or something with rotting flesh everywhere.

Thank you, well something had to happen with the corpses and I doubt that they would do it like the Albae and use their bones to create art. Nor did I want that they do something, well 'cannibalistic', so burning is good.

Bolvar is quite a tough fella to survive~ Secretly I'm happy that it was him, not any pinky red c: It appears that Rhon was lucky to be picked as I believe his fate could be not different from the rest of recruits.
Also it's a bit relieving that blackies didn't go that easy.
I'm up for the continuation as I sense that we're very close to what we wanted to know :3

Maybe he played dead :3 ... they ar not pink, they are... eh were... magentaRED ^^ But it somehow looks like pink, I have no idea, why.
Oh yes, Rhon sure was lucky and would have been killed aswell, if he stayed with his companions. Would've been a waste of talent.

I like 'em pink, such a "kawaii" red dragon xD
And the complete extintion of the black tribe, I believe; if it wasn't Rhon who found Arki, who knows what'd happen to the little chabby blackie.

You have good thoughts here.
The Red Dragon Tribe is weakened after this fight, since the Black dragons killed alot of their warriours. Moncagnarak was stupid enough to take many unexperienced warriours with him, he wanted to overwhelm Valrions tribe with a mass of dragons. So his 500 dragons fought against maybe 150 Blacks, and many of those were children, younglings and elders. So it was clear, that the Reds will be victorious in the end, but they had get losses.
The biggest tribe after this massacre, are the Earthcrawlers, but the were allies of the Red ones. However after that, those two split up and became enemies.

Woho deep talk about succesess and failures of war, and here you shown that unprepared young lives are killed faster than experienced veterans. Nice page.
