i always wanted a DD in this category. Thanks guys! now go listen to my dubstep. custo is dead.the dll's in the download are x86. if you use x64 just use the images with nav button customizer
Updated 12/26: This has the light version toolbar fix for chrome/firefox, it also contains many minor updates but i can't remember them all. the file also includes a darkened transparent taskbar version that is VERY incomplete. with the holidays, finals, and some commissioned web design i've been far too busy to make a proper final version of this package but this should address most of the issues that have been brought to my attention. no monochrome versions yet. sorry. happy holidays custo fans!

PS: There are some elements that i intentionally ignored because i never actually see them in daily use, however there are probably a few little bugs, and some completely ignored sections that will need attention. Please bring to my attention any major issues via screenshot and i'll get it fixed.

Was just looking through all my favorite Win7 skins, getting a massive dose of nostalgia when I see this skin. This was the first visual style I ever installed (correctly, lol) and wow. Windows 7 will always be the king of custo for me, and this a theme I won't forget.

Excellent theme and I'm a big critic regarding many things! Awesome.
Would love to see this ported to Windows 8/8.1 even 10.
Visible colors especially when using a HDPI LCD Display, I can actually see the work that I'm doing and reading... well within a virtualized Windows 7 machine using this theme, my Windows 8 theme cannot see a thing and colors are so washed out! I'd just wish I had this theme for Windows 8.1... hint hint wink wink poke poke.

A DD? Seriously? You have got to be kidding me....this style is horrible & overused & quite honestly, something that's just super easy for the uncreative to do so they can make things. Frankly, it sucks that this is now what is popular & considered "good" design.... as far as I'm concerned, to be a good graphic designer means actually being a good graphic designer, someone who is an actual artist & makes something that can't be so easily replicated by anyone in the world with a computer....this is the reason why I often am miserable sitting at a computer which was once my haven, my one place to enjoy & go to all my life, the misery is caused by the fact these designs have become the "standard" & everyone goes far beyond "minimalism" & "simplicity" to just make everything boring, flat & ugly. There comes a point where it's just too far & everyone has reached far beyond it. I don't blame you personally for originally creating this style, but you are certainly part of the problem. Because of people like you, I am FORCED to use software I can't even stand looking at, which in order for them to make the software have the style, they use some software that makes the UI so that it doesn't conform to MY Windows 7 theme choices, making it often beyond miserable because unlike every other idiot, I do NOT enjoy staring at burning bright windows on a burning bright screen all day. I spend most of my time on the computer, I prefer not to have my eyes assaulted. I'm just saying, a little more creativity & thought goes a long way & I find it rather lazy that everyone would rather have things like this, nothing but flat, boring, bland boxes with contrasting colors, often of the most boring variety. I like things to look unique or beautiful, not boring and flat. I know this is not how everyone feels, but I also feel like I shouldn't have to be the one to suffer just because the majority likes something, especially when the majority never even used computers until they started making them ultra-over-easily used by everyone (a mistake) & they still mostly only use them as an internet machine.... I'm not saying 100%, mind you, just the majority. The truth is most of the people who prefer this style just don't spend the amount of time on their computers, or love their computers as much as people like me & yet we are always cast aside as if we don't matter & making us miserable is almost a joy for them. If you wanna design things like this, by all means, do it, but if you ever make a UI for a software group or something, please keep in mind that there are still a TON of people who don't want the UI forced on them in such an accosting way & we prefer things to work WITH our Windows 7 custom themes & colors, rather than against them......

It's a better design than you could ever make, and "when the majority never even used computers until they started making them ultra-over-easily" sooo you're claiming that you'd never use a computer unless it were super-duper easy like TOUCH? Oh nooo... go away! A UI that has absolutely no abnormal effects such as glows and shadows is the perfect UI, adding a bunch of fancy junk to eat up system resources like your current firefox is pathetic. Slim, unique, and straight-forward is the way to go... no hogwash bloated unessential bs.
I'd like to see this for Windows 8/8.1 even 10. :smile

I have a Problem with this VS; status bars (e.g. VLC's or Foobar2000's Status bar) are all black and unreadable. Could you fix this? Would really love to use this theme, but this minor flaw makes it unusable for me.
