a beautiful butterfly, glowing ready to leap away from the concrete to be free, and yet imprisoned by the very fundament of its own existence...
that's the what i "read into" your photograph. i was pretty surprised when i read that your own interpretation was that of nature being imprisoned by the concrete of the city, but it's fitting as well - the butterfly seems to be brimming with life while the rest of the scene appears dead.
