Description i did this in the last semester at my college. it wasn't as good as i wanted it to be and my lecturer was disappointed as well. i guess it was because i did this during the break up and it kinda affected my mood. i tried my best to make it look nice though.

the idea was Steven Spielberg himself riding the bicycle with ET infront in the basket. i kinda like the idea. just that the execution could have been nicer maybe. anyways i hope u guys like it!

this was done with mixed media, including airbrush, colour ink and acrylic on illustration board.

i like it!! it's a little "rough" and comes across as slightly unprofessional in that sense (brush strokes clearly visible), but the skill required to execute something like this is apparent - and done in traditional tools no less! i think it has its own quaint sort of charm - fantastic! almost looks like it's been done with colour pencils great job!

thanks alot yes u are right this piece was very rough. sad to say my mood was very very down during the time when i painted this because i was facing a break up. it could have been so much better but i was affected by my feelings. so i was very unprofessional.

i can see why your lecturer might have considered this piece slightly "amateurish" to be part of a professional portfolio. but i still give A+ for execution, personally, because like i said the skill is apparent.

i'm sorry about the breakup but you have a gift to create beautiful art. nobody can take that from you, dear!

I would never forget this scene from the movie! Now i only know the director of this film is Steven Spielberg. >.<

Maybe this artpiece can work on more details (so that looks more realistic)? 'coz i see there are many parts just painted in broad strokes instead of go into details. Yea.. maybe that breakup affected your mood that time.. that reminds me my friend's 'celebrity logion' (lol), "Nothing motivates one more than love", so nothing demotivates one more than love too.

yes that break up affected my mood that time. so i din really put enough effort for that piece and i was disappointed. i could have been more realistic thats correct. i shouldnt let my feelings affect my work next time. thats bad!

Keke^^ Artist is emotional. And emotions are part of life. We can't get rid of 'em. Let's consult Dalai Lama how to control 'em.
