He was wearing his high, red plumed helmet when this threat was made. That much was specified so I'd imagine he's be wearing martial dress. And surely his hair was long and flowing! For Elves love such.

I've seen a lot of art of Feanor with short hair. I've always wondered why.

Feanor, a being who had talent beyond others but an egomaniac and a callous asshole.

I love Fingolfin's pose and expression. It's like, "What did I do!?"
I bet that just pissed Fëanor off even more.

This is so pretty- I love the detailing in Fingolfin’s clothing and on the wall behind him especially.

If I have to be serious, I don't like the way you pictured Feanor here, it's great when it comes to technical way, but in my opinion he should look more noble and high, not like hot blooded youngster ( even if he was hot blooded, of course ).

You have managed to transmit the emotions of the character in the scene, their expresion and poses. I like the character desing, the clothes, detail,.

Yes, I've seen her works and they're absolutely fantasting! Actually they were a big inspiration for me and part of the reason why i started drawing these in the first place. Her watercolours are just incredible.. I also like her interpretation of these characters a lot.. most of them are very close to the way i see them. Must be because it seems she has been just as nitpicky with the "historically correct" details as me! Yeah, i don't think it's written anywhere that Fëanor had short hair.. but i've always pictured him that way too.
Yes, i've used some kinds of decorative themes that i saw fitting for certain characters.. like flames for Fëanor, stars and eagles for Fingolfin and Fingon, diamonds for Turgon, serpents and floral patterns for Finrod, etc. But i had all but forgotten about the fact that Tolkien had designed actual heraldry for some of those characters too, before i happened to find your gallery and designs. That's why asked you about them.. i think they would make nice decorative elements in clothing, shields etc. And yes, I remember seeing some of those sword designs in your gallery too, it'd be interesting to see more!
