Description watercolors, black marker and golden gel pen. I added the sepia toneswith photoshop because the black ink turned blue and it looked terrible it didn't match the rest of the painting at all. But it looks better now, with that old effect

Hey that's a nice work I like weathered/worn look of the paper.
You should resize it though; 1400 pixels is a tad too wide for many screens.

As for the size I always have one dilemma, if I want to show the details or show the whole painting in a proper way. I know that the image is too big; but my favourite part of the drawing is the golden higlights and I wanted to show them.

Wow! I really love the effect you achieved on this overall - the texture of the sky being my favourite part to look at. I also was impressed with the level of detail of the ship and the rather creative use of different mediums. It's very eerie and ominous.

Thanks! I'll let you know two little secrets: I did the clouds removing the excess of paint with toilet paper, and the ship, the more ropes and wires you add (i don't know the name in english) the more realistic it looks glad you liked it

I love the texture of the sky and the ship and sea. I love sepia/brown tones. That is why I use brown ink to outline alot of my works

I love those tones too, sometimes they make a piece far more interesting

Very nice piece. Has the feeling of being painted on rice paper - has a nice texture. I'm glad you didn't show the one that turned blue and made adjustments
It really looks ancient. I would love to see the foreground work better because all I see is a hint of waves since it so dark. Computers just don't do justice to our works of art, do they? I like the ship, too. Just enough detail to fit the feeling of the painting.

In the original version it was supposed to be a stormy weather, but i couldn't do the waves right, so I made instead a calm night. The sea is very dark, with some touches of grey. I would have left it that way, if it wasn't for the horrible bright blue of the ship. Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it
