Description
Digital portrait of the mighty band of adventurers from the DnD campaign I play in: “High Hopes Low Rolls”!
This piece is by far the biggest I’ve ever worked on, featuring ten fully-painted characters and taking over 20 hours to complete. I had so much fun putting this picture together though as this is a project I’ve wanted to finish for ages!
As always, any and all feedback would be very much appreciated, love to hear what you think!

Great work it does capture all the DnD High Hopes group. Have you ever considered doing a comic book using these characters? I think you could tell the adventure in an illustrated format, and then add in maps of the current adventure, NPC's with their stats, and anything interesting that happened to your group. With your skills this would be an awesome work. Just a thought. Keep on drawing. Thanks for sharing all your cool works of art.

I love the small bit of story you gave us for Nagar. Personally, I think that is a wonderful way to honor your fallen comrades, a tattoo. It makes their story live on. The most players I been in a group is 5, and its just seems like when we are not fighting, its not all that get a voice.

Watching the speedpaint gave me a motivation boost to draw my past DnD characters, but it also made me want to play DnD and I currently have no way to do that unless there's some online DnD players out there There's something about watching people draw DnD related things that brings me joy.

How does one get into DnD?? I've been interested for ages but never found a way into it?

if you look around, i know there are a lot of online campaigns/groups with multiple or rotating campaigns that you can join pretty easily,
and depending on where you live, there is also a surprising amount of places that have locally run campaigns. You've just got to ask around. Bookstores and board-game stores are good places to start.
You could even just get a couple of your friends together and use pdf versions of the player's handbook and other stuff to start out. (On discord, there's this really useful bot called avrae? it can roll all the dice you'd need digitally, and has all the spells from the 5e handbook)
