It seems I’ve had many a situation where an unwanted guest has perched upon the brim of my porcelain and I guess I have never possessed the good sense or skill to capture it as remarkably as you have done. Awesome shot even if I hate the little buggers.

It's not as great as all people say. Point of focusing is not good!! i think this big unsharpnes comes from the low F number... i don't like it!

Yeah, the focus is great and I like the angle created by the coffee cup, especially as it blurs in the background. It's almost as if the fly is heading down a slide.
