Thank you! That was my beloved mally, Kara, last May, when she was 7 months old. Actually those aren't the Alps but the Appennini, that cross italy from north to south. Precisely, that place is called "castelluccio di norcia"; it is a large plain on the mountains between my region (le Marche) and the one next to it. In this period (May-July) the plain is full if flowers of every color and it's beautiful!
