I know it is an old picture, still I recommend you to (gah, my english is too weak for this) put your nomad bows down with two points supporting it from under. Similar to this: [link] (A picture will be far better than my english...)
In other cases the bows tend to twist out, I lost a scythian model bow of mine many, many years ago because of wrong storage. Let me also recommend a website with useful stuffs: [link]
It is highly possible that you already know most of it, but still, I hope I can help a little bit. Also, personally I don't really interested in middle-eastern swords, but you've got a pretty respectable collection, really nice!

yes, everything on my pages are functional,
Swordforum.com is where I found the bow, other things I have picked up in Iraq, Afghanistan and a few other places

any of the middle eastern swords, all of the tulwars came from Afghanistan and most of the Shamsear/Shief came from Iraq, though one or two came from Afghanistan
