I have been tattoing for about a month now, but as far as i can tell, the pigskin seems to be the best way to practice. I tryed the fake skin, a total waste of time I haven't tattooed any people yet, simply because i am kind of a perfectionist when it comes to art, and i dont want to put anything on someones skin until i am sure of what i'm doing
But yeah, pigskin=
+cheap
+actual skin
-you can't really stretch it as you would in tattoo, so that's a bit missguiding
-a bit tougher then human skin, have to go deeper with the needle
-if kept prolonged amounts of time in heat or frozen/difrozen many times, could smell :/
so yeah, pigskin all the way for me, hope it helped

Thanx alot for the info. I appreciate it. I'm planning on starting later this year. In the meantime i've just been sharpening up me drawing and shading skills.
This will definitely come in handy when i get started.
Goodluck, great work so far.
