Ah, I'm in tears... Tears of joy! This is amazing! I've been very busy lately but I've been browsing around, and I've haven't the time to properly post up a response.... But here I am! Allison is scared that Max will find them and is unable to sleep, Ruth sings her a lullaby about how she would protect her and her big sister from harm, that she has nothing to fear, making Laura smile as she tries to sleep as well.

Ruth stays strong despite doing one of the hardest things a person can do: leaving an abusive partner for good. She provides a foundation of love and protection around her girls, who are undoubtedly rattled by the experience. Laura definitely knows things will get better.

Tenderness, safety and above all warmth are the first words wich come into my mind when I see this pic.
PErhaps the most interesting thing to see is basically how you managed to portray a completely different side of Ruth in comparison to the fury she was in your previous pic where she defended her child.
Laura's facial expression breaths relief and tranquility while Allison still is shaky from the recent events.
Elegance in simplicity which most definitely captures the emotions you wanted to portray in this one.
