Description
Just a little something to explain my character Mordecai's personality and story. ^^I'm so bad at these layouts though, I'm sorry.
I had a neat idea, but of course, it didn't turn out like I thought it would. I spent a few hours on this today. I really wanted to finish it before the next week started.
I have so much work to do. Technically I shouldn't have been working on this. But I just needed to work on my own stuff for a change. XDI've been drawing Mort a lot lately. It might be because I can really relate to him, I don't know.
Anyways, I hope you like him! ^^
Now I'm going to go through some of my messages. I'm not ignoring you, I'm just having a difficult time keeping up. D:

This is such a cute character! Although I really feel bad for him, I could just see the effort put into his machine only to figure out that it explodes later on. But nothing can compare what I really think about that character but this, D'awwwwww~.

I honestly feel that teensies are almost ageless. Or at least if they're older, they don't act older.

I have two questions: When you say that Mordecai lives with some other Teensies in a small house, do you mean an actual small house or some sort of apartment type thing (or whatever that would be)? At any rate, do you have any idea who the other Teensies are?

I picture a building with a few small rooms, but with larger common room areas. ^^ As for who the other teensies might be, I don't have any specific ideas I'm afraid.

I was just curious because I was sort of going back to my idea of Neima and her adventures in the Rayman universe a bit in my head. When I get a chance, I want to draw out a redesign of her outfit and post it with a fixing of a few details that have occurred to me. That, and hopefully go into a little more detail with the story. I don't know, maybe I'll write a couple of short stories. We'll see. Anyway, one detail I was thinking is that she rooms with Mordecai (or in a spare room of his lab or something). So I was just curious if it there was a family or two that Mordecai lives in the same house as or if it's just a bunch bachelors or something. Really, it's just a little detail I want to know if i can use in some interesting way.

I imagine the other teensies are a bunch of individuals with no family, but they've known each other for so long, they they treat each other like family. So they're all friends. ^^ Mordecai also stays in his shop some nights if he wants to be away from the noise, so I imagine there would be spare rooms there as well.

So he's essentially an orphan living with other orphans. Interesting. Yeah, I'm thinking that since it's supposed to be a temporary set up anyway, they make room for her in the attic. I also kind of figured that Mordecai would stay at his workshop every once in a while. Though I kind of thought it would be more because he didn't want to stop working on a certain project. I have an idea for two of the teensies (I'm thinking there would be six in all) and what their personalities would be. One being a girl with a sort humorous quirk (for the audience). The other is a guy who is older than the others by a number of years... With him I'm thinking he acts like a big brother to the others, but has a certain natural tone in his voice that Neima mistranslates horribly for a while.
I also know that this says what Mordecai's personality, but I find that to not say much about how he would react in certain situations or even what goes on through his head in those situations. I can only assume stuff (which I would like to avoid if I can). I only know two solutions which I'm just throwing out there: one is through writing with him as a character of focus and the other is through simple roleplay like what we sort of got going on the screenshot.

Yeah, he stays at his shop if he wants to continue his projects uninterrupted as well. XD He tends to fall asleep at his desk a lot because he actually refuses to sleep when he's focused on something.
I love the ideas you have by the way! The other teensie characters would add a lot to the story.
I understand, it's difficult to interpret how a character would respond without seeing examples of what their reactions are like to certain situations. If you wanted to continue the RP, I wouldn't mind continuing it through notes! ^^ It's up to you though!

I just absolutely love Mordecai! The more I learn about him, the more I like him. This profile really lays out all of his little quirks and passions. You always put so much depth into your characters, Dream. They're always so believable. <3
