青空 - A O Z O R A - : 葵 「the GazettE」Aoi, guitarist of the GazettE.
This is the first time that I've actually drawn Aoi alone. I've attempted so many times, but failed simultaneously.
And I'm glad to say that this turned out pretty well.
Aozora means blue sky. Aoi means blue. But 葵 (Aoi) means hollyhock (?) (I found in a dictionary that it's some kind of rose?)
Either a blue sky or a rose, it doesn't matter. Because Aoi resembles both.
A sky, that covers everything. He is like an older brother for all the GazettE members. He looks out for everybody. Even though Kai usually the one who does that. Aoi does it in unconventional ways. He's like a sky, big, majestic, beautiful.
A rose, elegant and loving. He is definitely both of that.
Inspired after listening to the Distress and Coma single.

This is a gorgeous piece! I love how his hand is holding onto his clothing, and how well the colors go together behind him. THE SPLATTERS OF COLORS ARE BEAUTIFUL! So clean yet so spontaneous!

I guess drawing and painting is the only way I can throw my feelings away. It's like a diary. A visual diary. and I'm really glad I have the ability to make this diary.
I guess the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" is something that I have inside me. I'd rather make a picture than write a thousand words (I suck at writing. haha)
