Created for the rift - create a colossus contest. I chose the life colossus as my theme. He is able to concentrate his energy to create new life forms to defend himself. The one who defeats him obtains his heavenly powerRelated content

The details on the scenario are really amazing, and the characters really look "at home" with the whole image.

The thing that makes this Colossus stand out is the fact it is not a hulking monster that tears through everything, rather it creates new life, wearing those that oppose it down and perhaps later joining the fight itself, something that controls the battlefield rather than ignores it. The natural theme with added alien touches such as the light coursing through the ground to new born creatures. The adventurers, while small still look distinctive, whether it be due to armor, weapons or spells.

yes really, there are some similaritiers. but honestly - until you showed me this link i ve never seen one of these nature elf concepts before. but i think when it comes to the life/nature theme the association with roots and plants comes to your mind and there surely might be thougths of these elements building the body. when i drew the colossus, on the one hand, i thought of the dinosaur group Ceratopsia with it s huge neck shields and horns and the plant and root idea seemed perfectly to combine with this. on the other hand, and which is the more important point for me is the colossus concentrating his engery to grow new life forms which protect him. and i think that is a thing the concepts you showed me didn t include (i didn t play guild wars 2 so i don t know it)

Iam really glad you got the link from me. You have some really interesting ideas. You're also original. Guild Wars 2 concept is hard to do, but I am glad you found a similarity on it. It was a good game. Triceratops hmm.

Agree with Koscian. Perhabs a little too small for a Colossus. I think your colossus is around the size of the Ents you encounter in some quest (special spawn from a life rift) in an area, can't remember what area.
