Description Forest Titan - Life Colossus
Made for the RIFT Create a Colossus Contest.

Still a little sketchy around the corners and probably a little too Warcraft 3 derivative but here is my entry. The overarching concept it that the titan lumbers around and creates an area of life energy influence from which springs other life rift creatures and poisonous flora. Enjoy.

I love dude with the pipe, just like "oh look a titan... now where's the duck pond?"

Hahaha. He was originally put in the image to give scale reference, but I like your interpretation much more

So, this is your real entry? it's a great ilustration, but I like your water creature way more.

I totally agree with you that the design of the water colossus is much stronger. When I had submitted this, there was a very small amount of time left and I thought I would only be able to submit one. I had the sketch of the water colossus waiting, so I quickly tried to colour it up and put it into the competition. I believed I uploaded it with thirty seconds or so to go. Next time I should really pay more attention to when the deadline actually is I think

That was close

Well, I also though that we can submit only one colossus, they have explained it pretty badly, or we suck at English :/

I have problems with the dead lines and submited an photo on my own work, looked horrible, but you can edit the message and actually CHANGE the image (i uploaded a scaned HD versiΓ³n), that means if you submited something you don't like I think you can even change your work...

Well, at least I've done so, but is the same work only with more quality, don't know if people will agree if someone directly chage the whole ilustration.

I only skimmed over the rules so I suppose I have myself to blame in that respect. I did know that you were allowed to submit more than one design though I didn't think I would find the time to actually do so. I was aware that you could change the image, though I have not done so at this stage. Although it would be rather advantageous to work further on my design and present a more polished version, it all seems a little unsporting. I doubt there is any issue with loading a high quality image such as you have done though.

I'll continue to tinker with the design anyway and see where it ends up.
