I always really liked Spot and thought he was a great foil to Spider-man.Β I never understood all the hate that people had for this particular character but suspect it must've came down to his name.Β Spot is the name for a beloved family pet and not a dangerous adversary and people, I guess, immediately thought that he was silly because of that: a poorly chosen moniker.Β Your awesome sequentials, however, show just how deadly a menace he could actually be for Spidey.
There's not that many characters in the Marvelverse that could go toe-to-toe with Spider-man and neutralize his agility in such a unique way that, as a reader, you literally didn't know if it was a match-up that Spidey could actually win by the end of the issue or not. I think your artwork perfectly captures this "battle tension" and helps redeem a character that was given such short shrift by everyone involved with the comic at that time.Β
It goes without saying but, as always, great work.Β
