I have been trying, basically since I first read the book well over 2 years ago, to do a piece of Good Omens fanart that I am actually happy with, that shows Crowley and Aziraphale as I see them in my head. I never thought that day would come, and yet, it has. I couldn't be more happy. (Well, maybe I COULD be more happy if this had actually SCANNED WELL, but I should have figured out by now that nothing I draw ever scans well. That's half the reason most of my stuff is CG, even when it doesn't need to be. )

So yeah, it's everybody's favourite dark-hair-and-good-cheekbones demon, and seemingly gayer-than-a-treeful-of -monkies-on-nitrous-oxide angel. I love this book way too damn much. Most fanart of Crowley more or less looks like Crowley, since he's pretty well described in the book, but Aziraphale gets NO description, so all pictures of him look pretty different. Most people, fangirls especially, tend to favour a young and pretty Aziraphale. I've always imagined him more like this, although I haven't had the skill to quite get it down on paper until now. I think I'm finally, finally happy where my style's headed. Hell yes. Now if only that hand didn't suck so much.

This is mostly just mechanical pencil, but I got some grey Copic markers at Anime North, so I used a couple of those, mostly just to smooth out the pencil shading that was already there in places.

Crowley and Aziraphale belong to Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, who wrote Good Omens and are therefore way cooler than I'll ever be.
