When she was a kit Vistagaze would often focus on something far away making it seem as if she always had and eye open for the beauty of the world. Thus her parents gave her the name Vistakit, to convey her wide-minded thinking....or so they thought.

Gaze- Look steadily and intently, especially in admiration, surprise, or thought.
As Vistagaze grew older, she started conveying her emotions through her eyes more than her words, though he words did have a sharp sting as well. So as her time came to become a warrior, Sharpstar gave her a name that reflected her sharp gaze that she gave all of her clanmates.

[Stubborn/Strong-Headed] Her ideas are always best, and she knows what is right. If someone else doesn't agree with her then it's their loss. Do not argue with her, because she will never back down, she is as stubborn as any cat can get, plus she will probably give you her trademark glare, and scowl, which has been know to frighten kits as well as apprentices and the occasional warrior... This trait can be quite a pain to deal with, but if you want to be friends with her you just have to deal with it because there is no way she is changing just for you. On rare occasions it actually is a helpful asset, like when another cat is being a pain and won't back down, just bring in Vista and she will she will she them what real stubbornness is like, though you have to be on her good side to get her to help you...

She tends to think through important decisions, but sometimes she rushes, though that usually doesn't effect her decision. Due to past circumstances, she is quite a good judge of character, and is almost always right about a cat, though there have been a few times when she ended up being wrong. One of her biggest flaws is to always see the worst in a cat instead of the best. Sure if you give her some time she may see a few good things about you, but even then she will dwell on your flaws the majority of the time. Due to past circumstances she has become very good at strategy, which makes her a valuable asset when planning attacks. She is also good at improvising, so if anything goes wrong, she will usually come up with a new plan on the fly.

[Secluded] Social skills have always been lacking in Vistagaze's department. Sure she can try to talk, but that usually just ends up in a fight, so if you want to stay on her good side try to leave her alone as much as possible. Her favorite place to be is a little nook hidden behind the warriors den, it is quite and secluded, perfect for a cat like her, and if she is having a particularly bad day she will sleep out in this cove. She keeps her feelings hidden well and covers up any emotion with her stubborn, serious cover. Most of the time you can find her sitting in the shadows with a frown on her face as she studies every little bit about every cat. It takes a very special and patient cat to get on her good side and actually become her friend, but if you happen to do you you will have a loyal companion, even if she can be snappy.

With her is is always a guessing game, and for your best bet you should just listen to what she says and do what she asks you to, weather that be talking with her, or leaving her alone.

She can come up with witty banter on the spot, but she also has a gift of describing predicaments really well, even if that includes using really big words. But this also means that she can snap back quickly with a smart comment, making her a 'champion' of arguments, which might not be the best title, but she is proud of it. Don't ever try to annoy her because she will give you a mouthful if you do so, along with some yelling and very uncontrolled hissing. Only a few cats can hold their own again her, and even then she won't give up until she has won, no matter what she has to do. So in short, be careful what you say around this she-cat, because she won't hesitate to snap back with a few sharp words.

Even the smallest little thing can irk her and send her into an angry fit, and when she is angry, you don't want to be near her unless you want to get a new scar. Even if a cat just annoys her she can blow up in their face, which usually ends up with the other cat leaving and Vista feeling either accomplished, or alone. If you do manage to upset her, which isn't quite hard at all, give her some space because it can take a while for her to calm down. To keep her anger and annoyance at bay, Vistagaze goes for walks throughout the day and sometimes just sits up in a tall tree and thinks. It helps her get herself under control so she doesn't completely blow it. Right before a Gathering she had been known to stay alone all day to get herself under control so she doesn't loose it in front of the other clans.

If something really, really gets on Vistagaze's nerves, she will loose all control over her thoughts and actions. This is extremely dangerous, and can result in very bad injuries to the cat who started it all. It will eventually wear off when Vistagaze's energy is gone, but a faster way to knock some sense into her is just that. Hitting her on the head, or slapping her will usually snap her out of it. After she realizes what just happened (seeing as she is in a daze when it does happen) then she will most likely go into shock, sometimes resulting in fainting. After an episode, it will take Vistagaze a few days to go completely back to normal, during these few days she will usually be unresponsive, and very secluded, but she won't snap very easily, due to the shock.

[Loyal] Aside from all of her anger issues and strange behavior, Vistagaze is one of the most loyal cats you will ever meet. If you manage to befriend her she will stick by you especially in front of other clans. But if you have a fight with her she may back off and just let you face what ever you have coming, it depends what kind of mood she is in, and if she is feeling an urge to be somewhat nice. If she is with a cat from another clan and that cat makes fun of SkyClan or a SkyClan cat in any way she will snap at them and set them straight. To her there in no better clan than her's, though she will respect someone being loyal to their own clan, because there is nothing worse than a betraying, lying, traitorous cat.

[Slightly Narcissistic] Aside from her anger, this is Vista's worst trait. When she does something well she will grin and boast, letting other's know how well she did. And even if she hasn't had the best day she will still try to toot her own horn. But this isn't a constant trait, it only comes out on rare occasions, such as when she became deputy. She will also tease others about how she could do something much better than they could, and sometimes rub it in their face. When when it dies she, watch out, it can get annoying very quickly!

The Beginning of a Life
New kits always bring joy to a Clan, especially when they are the leader's kits. Leafstar's second little was comprised of three adorable kits-Wildkit, the oldest, and the only tom, Vistakit, the eldest she-kit, and Dreamkit, the youngest of the siblings. From the beginning all of the siblings were best friends, they always hung out together and would often sneak out of camp to explore, as was the normal for any kit. Vistakit started out as she is today, a stubborn little kit who made the rules and did what she wanted to do, but she also had a deep love for her family, especially Dreamkit. The two sisters were inseparable, and if one of them was in trouble, the other was always there as the partner in crime. As they grew older, Vistakit automatically became the leader of the pack, even taking charge over Wildkit during their adventures. But her brother was a calm, level-headed cat, so he never minded letting his sister take control, unless they got caught, then he would hop in and say it was his fault, because he never liked seeing his sisters get punished. This only increased the she-kit's antics more and more, she would do something and then Wildkit would get in trouble. But if she ever did get caught she would throw a fit about it and sulk around until she could get out and do what she wanted to again. As they neared apprentice age Vistakit started developing her temper even more, if she got caught she would snap at her mom telling her she wasn't being lenient enough and to her surprise and joy her siblings usually backed her up.

Tough Training
Upon being made an apprentice, Vistapaw and her siblings still stayed close, them always backing her up. Although they still hung out, training did interfere and at times they didn't see each other as much as they would have like. It didn't help that Vistapaw's mentor-a tough tom by the name of Flintclaw- pushed her harder than any other apprentice. She constantly fought with him, arguing about techniques and strategies at almost every training session. But slowly she started respecting the annoying tom, and ended up listening to his advice, if only to show that she was learning something. As she kept training harder, Vistapaw started growing further apart from her siblings, which broke Dreampaw's heart, but Wildpaw was still there to comfort his youngest sister. The young Vistapaw got so caught up in becoming a warrior, that she didn't even notice how her attitude effected her family, as far she she was concerned, everything was still perfectly fine, though she was starting to wonder why her siblings never seemed to back her up any more. Her mother, on the other hand, noticed Vistapaw's lost sense of family importance, and her growing anger issues and thus held her back from becoming a warrior. Instead of teaching the apprentice a lesson, this act only made Vistapaw angry, and made her pull away from her family even more. But was made her even more angry was the retirement of Billystorm and Leafstar. Now Sharpstar was in charge and her mother had no control over her warriorship. Resentment grew inside of her as Dreampaw and Wildpaw were made warrior before her, as it was obvious she was ready to be promoted as well., it seemed as if Shaprstar was keeping her mothers wishes... Instead of being patient, and waiting for her time, she confronted her mother about the matter, telling her to let Sharpstar make his own decisions. But the elder wouldn't hear it, she said she was only advising her old deputy in the matter and he was doing what he though was best. Vistapaw grew bitter and angry at her parents and her leader, but she worked hard and trained more than any of the younger apprentices, hoping that Sharpstar would soon see how much the Clan needed her as a warrior.

The Best Reward
After three more moons, Vistapaw was finally made a warrior, and given the name Vistagaze. She still held resentment against her mother, but not for long. Leafdapple caught a sickness that took her within a few days, and before Vistagaze could even try to get over it her father died as well, most said it was from a broken heart. The young warrior walked around in a daze, not sure what to make of it, she hadn't gotten the chance to rekindle her connection with her parents and now they were gone. If it wasn't for Dreamlight, she may not have healed. Once the siblings got over their parent's passing, they made things right with each other. Dreamlight forgave her sister for her attitude and their lost friendship was mended. Wildblaze on the other hand, forgave his sister, but things were never the smae, he always seemed to look down on Vistagaze's decisions, the days of taking the blame for her were long forgotten. But Vistagaze wouldn't let her brother's attitude get in the way of her relationship with her sister. Once again they were hanging out every day, and it wasn't long before their talks drifted towards toms. In truth, Dreamlight did all the talking, and she only talked about one tom, a huge black tom by the name of Viperstrike. Vistagaze had no idea what her sister saw in the harsh, anger-driven tom, but Dreamlight kept insisting that he had a soft side, and that she wasn't going to give up on him. About a moon later, Vista's sister managed to uncover some of Viperstrike's soft side, and soon she was expecting kits. The older she-cat didn't quite know what to make of becoming an aunt, after all, she never really got along with kits, but Dreamlight kept insisting they would love her. Slowly the idea of hanging out with kits grew on Vistagaze, especially since they would be Dreamlight's. Excitement slowly started to grow, and soon she couldn't wait to meet her nieces and nephews.

Loss and Gain
The time came from Dreamlight to have her kits, but the kitting didn't go smoothly at all, in fact, it took the sweet queen's life. But somehow, her only kit lived. Viperstrike was heartbroken, instead of staying and raising the kit he ended up running away from SkyClan, even before his daughter was named. Without even thinking Vistagze immediately took responsibility of the kit, naming her Canyonkit, and finding her a foster mother. She knew it was what Dreamlight would have wanted, she was sure of that. The brown she-cat spent as much time as she could with her sister's kit, giving her special attention, and showering her with the love and kindness Dreamlight would have given her. The small kit helped her recover from the loss of her sister, but there was always something missing. But it so happened that Vistagaze was spending a little too much time in the nursery, and was avoiding some of her warrior duties. Sharpstar knew it was a problem and assigned the she-cat an apprentice. Redpaw was a feisty tom who wanted to do what he wanted to. Vistagaze could see some of herself in him, but that also meant he was a hard one to train. As she spent more time teaching him, he brought out the worst in her, pushing all of her buttons and driving her mad. Somehow she managed to teach the tom all she could and he was made a warrior, though he wasn't always the most respected warrior. But Vistagaze had managed to train him and she felt proud of the feat. Life went on as normal for quite a while. Then, one day there was a dog attack, Sharpstar sacrificed himself to save his clanmates and now the clan's deputy, Cloverfrost was to take his place. Rumors went around of who the new deputy would be, many said Wildblaze would be a good choice, he was calm, smart and had a leader's blood in him. When moonhigh arrived the new leader chose Vistagaze. Joy filled the warrior, she would show everyone just how great a deputy she could be, she would be better than her brother, and better than any other deputy before her! But some cats were skeptical, and still to this day she constantly has to show others that she is worthy of her position, no matter her flaws.

The sun was just rising on the SkyClan camp as cats hurried back and forth around the cliffside. A brown tabby she-cat emerged from the warriors den, her sky blue eyes scanned the camp, as she surveyed how the Clan was doing on this leaf-bare day. There was no snow on the ground, as the weather had been warming up the past few days, but there was still a nip in the air, and it was plain to see that new leaf wasn't here just yet. Vistagaze stretched her long body, then climbed up the cliff trail to Cloverstar's den. She nodded to double-check with the leader on the leader on everything before assigning patrols and what-not. As she neared the den, she couldn't help but look out on the Clan, she caught sight of her brother, Wildblaze, talking with some of the other warriors, along with her niece, Canyonpaw racing around the camp. A small smile played on her lips, and she couldn't help feel a little happy, things were going well, and all the cats seemed happy and well fed. This is how it should be... she thought, then turned around and called out to Cloverstar before entering the den.

But the elder wouldn't hear it, she said she was only advising her old deputy in the matter and he was doing what he though was best. Vistapaw grew bitter and angry at her parents and her leader, but she worked hard and trained more than any of the younger apprentices, hoping that Sharpstar would soon see how much the Clan needed her as a warrior.

The Best Reward
After three more moons, Vistapaw was finally made a warrior, and given the name Vistagaze. She still held resentment against her mother, but not for long. Leafdapple caught a sickness that took her within a few days, and before Vistagaze could even try to get over it her father died as well, most said it was from a broken heart. The young warrior walked around in a daze, not sure what to make of it, she hadn't gotten the chance to rekindle her connection with her parents and now they were gone. If it wasn't for Dreamlight, she may not have healed. Once the siblings got over their parent's passing, they made things right with each other. Dreamlight forgave her sister for her attitude and their lost friendship was mended. Wildblaze on the other hand, forgave his sister, but things were never the smae, he always seemed to look down on Vistagaze's decisions, the days of taking the blame for her were long forgotten. But Vistagaze wouldn't let her brother's attitude get in the way of her relationship with her sister. Once again they were hanging out every day, and it wasn't long before their talks drifted towards toms. In truth, Dreamlight did all the talking, and she only talked about one tom, a huge black tom by the name of Viperstrike. Vistagaze had no idea what her sister saw in the harsh, anger-driven tom, but Dreamlight kept insisting that he had a soft side, and that she wasn't going to give up on him. About a moon later, Vista's sister managed to uncover some of Viperstrike's soft side, and soon she was expecting kits. The older she-cat didn't quite know what to make of becoming an aunt, after all, she never really got along with kits, but Dreamlight kept insisting they would love her. Slowly the idea of hanging out with kits grew on Vistagaze, especially since they would be Dreamlight's. Excitement slowly started to grow, and soon she couldn't wait to meet her nieces and nephews.

Loss and Gain
The time came from Dreamlight to have her kits, but the kitting didn't go smoothly at all, in fact, it took the sweet queen's life. But somehow, her only kit lived. Viperstrike was heartbroken, instead of staying and raising the kit he ended up running away from SkyClan, even before his daughter was named. Without even thinking Vistagze immediately took responsibility of the kit, naming her Canyonkit, and finding her a foster mother. She knew it was what Dreamlight would have wanted, she was sure of that. The brown she-cat spent as much time as she could with her sister's kit, giving her special attention, and showering her with the love and kindness Dreamlight would have given her. The small kit helped her recover from the loss of her sister, but there was always something missing. But it so happened that Vistagaze was spending a little too much time in the nursery, and was avoiding some of her warrior duties. Sharpstar knew it was a problem and assigned the she-cat an apprentice. Redpaw was a feisty tom who wanted to do what he wanted to. Vistagaze could see some of herself in him, but that also meant he was a hard one to train. As she spent more time teaching him, he brought out the worst in her, pushing all of her buttons and driving her mad. Somehow she managed to teach the tom all she could and he was made a warrior, though he wasn't always the most respected warrior. But Vistagaze had managed to train him and she felt proud of the feat. Life went on as normal for quite a while. Then, one day there was a dog attack, Sharpstar sacrificed himself to save his clanmates and now the clan's deputy, Cloverfrost was to take his place. Rumors went around of who the new deputy would be, many said Wildblaze would be a good choice, he was calm, smart and had a leader's blood in him. When moonhigh arrived the new leader chose Vistagaze. Joy filled the warrior, she would show everyone just how great a deputy she could be, she would be better than her brother, and better than any other deputy before her! But some cats were skeptical, and still to this day she constantly has to show others that she is worthy of her position, no matter her flaws.

Blizzardheart "Well I went on a hunting patrol with him and to tell you the truth, it was horrible at first. We didn't get along at all, and I seriously just wanted to be alone. Then for some reason, when I got back to camp I felt like I should try to talk to him again, so I did. It wasn't perfect we we managed to talk and now I conciser him a friend...."

Rarity // "Gosh this cat is annoying, she has no respect for warrior and is a big pain. I hope I don't ever see her again...."

RP Sample:

The sun was just rising on the SkyClan camp as cats hurried back and forth around the cliffside. A brown tabby she-cat emerged from the warriors den, her sky blue eyes scanned the camp, as she surveyed how the Clan was doing on this leaf-bare day. There was no snow on the ground, as the weather had been warming up the past few days, but there was still a nip in the air, and it was plain to see that new leaf wasn't here just yet. Vistagaze stretched her long body, then climbed up the cliff trail to Cloverstar's den. She nodded to double-check with the leader on the leader on everything before assigning patrols and what-not. As she neared the den, she couldn't help but look out on the Clan, she caught sight of her brother, Wildblaze, talking with some of the other warriors, along with her niece, Canyonpaw racing around the camp. A small smile played on her lips, and she couldn't help feel a little happy, things were going well, and all the cats seemed happy and well fed. This is how it should be... she thought, then turned around and called out to Cloverstar before entering the den.
