"In the place of a Dark Lord you would have a Queen! Not dark but beautiful and terrible as the Dawn! Treacherous as the Seas! Stronger than the foundations of the Earth! All shall love me and despair!" - Lady GaladrielMy twist of fate is if Galadriel took the one ring. I thought I would go a different approach and portrayed her not dark, but radiant and beautiful, with a ring around her head shining like the sun. I was inspired by stained glass windows in churches. Making her appear sort of like a saint, which I thought fit in with "All shall love me". This I thought gave a more subtle evil, as beauty holds power as well, and beautiful things are harder to suspect as evil.
I really enjoyed drawing this and participating in this contest and I hope you like it as well!

Lovely art and idea. Would you be mad if I said I wanted to see this in color? The stained glass idea has me dying to know how you'd color her, and wanting to see how she'd look with sunlight streaming through at dawn and sunset, and I'm even more curious how she'd look in the light of the moon...This is absolutely gorgeous. 5β

Thank you so much! I actually added some gold foil in the circle around her head since posting this and am deciding how I'd colour her! I'll probably post an updated version when I'm done, not for the contest though. I'm really glad you like it!
