Out hiking and came across this guy just chillin on a fallen tree he was pretty calm while i took pics. though didn't turn out quite as good as I hopedRelated content

lol garter snakes are totally harmless. They dont even bite usually, unless you pick them up and are trying. I used to catch a few different species of these as a kid all the time. I only got bit once, because he thought he was a cobra

Actually a very nice photo. Garter snakes are great subjects, and you managed to get it on a fantastic background. Color is perfect. Ace in the hole would have been having its eye in perfect focus, but it still works out well with having most "MOSTLY" in focus (if you get my drift). It's a nice effect. Well done.
