Because Bronwyn is too rooted in romantic tradition to ever make the first move, she needs to write, organise, cast and direct an entire play just to kiss Rusty on cue. I bet she made them rehearse that scene for a good hour, too.
My half of what was meant to be a quick art trade with Saphamia , who asked me to draw one of her characters that I hadn't before. Considering I've only ever drawn Sapphire, Ari and a hamster and rubber duck without the help of her sketches... Well, this is the first time I've drawn actually drawn them. I don't think she was expecting a comic page, though.
Being the writer for them, I know how they are in Aryala, so I see Bronwyn as one of Saphamia's happier, more fun and excitable characters; yet a lot of people feel sorry for her because she's only ever drawn sad, listless or telling Rusty off. Perhaps this might change that?
Bonus points if you know what the title is referencing.
