Description Suicune is the final component of the "Legendary trio" of beasts. Much like their ancestor, the Cheetah, Suicune can run to speeds up to 90 mph, some very un reliable sources say they can even make it to the 100 mph mark, but these have never been scientifically proved.

Unlike the other too, and very much like the cheetah, Suicune are mildly sociable animals, or at least they were before humans started to hunt them down for their tusks. The population rapidly decreased and thus, Suicune acquired the "Legendary" status, a fancy way of saying they´re an endangered species. Nowadays they are very timid animals and prefer to be left alone. Few cases of injuries have been registered, and mostly due to trainers unknowingly crossing paths with one of these animals.
However, there are more than a few recorded cases of Suicune trying to help humans in extreme need of shelter or assistance.
One of the most famous ones said that a trainer looking for a certain Pokemon that guards the forests got lost and no one knew where he was for almost two weeks. The trainer in question was later found in the brink of death just outside an entrance path to the forest. Later on said trainer would show to the media a short video of him bein attacked by an Ursaring and much later on a Suicune curiously aproaching him, licking his wounds and dragging him out of the forest.
The path where said Suicune left him was just half a mile from a small town.

Suicune has been subject of speculation for many years, and due to the minuscule size of global population, little is known about their social habits and mating rituals. What scientists know out of a carcass found in a famous forest in Johto, is that the tusks that poachers so avidly sought, are in fact their canines. Those don´t seem to have a hunting purpose and scientists think they use them as intimidation to fend of rivals, and attract females. It is known that females are much smaller and slender than males, and their canines grow in a more "traditional" fashion, although they do grow quite a bit (around 20 cm in length). They also possess heavy eyebrows that people mistook for horns for years (much like so with their tusks). The brows help them hunt in blizzards and just make them look fabulous in general

They have semi-retractable claws used to get a solid grip on the ground when hunting, and a long tail they use for balance, like cheetahs did. The false belief that Suicune have two tails stems from the fact that their manes tend to grow all their lives, and the fur tends to whiten with age. So it is understandable that due to the speed they move with and that their tails are also white, people would believe this.

Suicune is also one of the very few warm-blooded animals in the world capable of decreasing its body temperature below 0°C to perform some attacks, most notably the Aurora beam. Also, Trainers that succeed in teaching a Suicune the move Blizzard are considered an Elite, because this is one of the most dangerous moves this pokemon can learn, as it needs to lower its body temp to almost -15°C for a couple of minutes. This one move leaves Suicune exhausted and one must wait a couple of hours before using it again.

Suicune generally avoid contact with the other two species.

It is said that Suicune will look into your very soul and should he deem you unworthy, it´s eyes would be the last thing you see.

Forever crediting for inspiring me!
