Caelum and Sanya were drawn in Paint Tool SAI.
Everything else was done in Photoshop CS5.

I actually finished this several hours ago, several days sooner than I thought I would. I would have submitted this earlier, but I was extremely apprehensive about it.
And then I asked my siblings what they thought of this. They said Caelum looks evil. Like he's about to commit a crime.

But he isn't. He seems evil on the outside - blame it on genetics - but he has only the best intentions. He would never hurt Sanya, no matter how evilly he's looking at her. Hahaha!

Oh, and I know Sanya technically has a match already in Heart of Wildfire and that she is not mine to pair with who I want.
But I couldn't help myself; I just had to draw her with Caelum. Knowing what he's like, of course, I know that it would be impossible for him not to fall for Sanya if they ever met. I can't say the same for Sanya, though, she'll probably dislike him instantly. He doesn't have a very lovable personality.

Anyway, let's put an end to this description before it gets too long. Hahaha!
So what's going on in this picture, hmm?
Well, Sanya is walking through a dark forest. And then...

“There you are...”
Sanya gasped, surprised by the voice. She spun around and found the speaker stepping out of the shadows. At recognizing him, relief and a slight hint of irritation colored her cheeks. “Oh. You again.”
“Me again,” he echoed pleasantly. He was smiling, the moonlight from overhead breaking through the forest canopy and highlighting the curve of white on his face. She could not decide if he looked threatening – his eyes and teeth glinting – or if he looked perfectly opposite that.
"Could you not do that?"
"Do what, Sanya?" he queried, saying her name slowly and deliberately as if it was such a pleasure.
She frowned. "Just... That!"
His smile turned gently into one of amusement and mild condescension. It vexed Sanya to see that she amused him so much when it was the last thing she was trying to do.
“What are you doing here anyway?” she asked.
He looked at her thoughtfully, his eyes shining with the unspoken words: Isn't it obvious?
“Looking for you.”
She shook her head. “Go home, Caelum. It isn't safe here. It's dark and you could get lost.” She didn't wait for an answer as she turned around and walked away.
Caelum, however, had no plans of just letting her leave. He followed after her, taking two steps for each of hers. As soon as he was close enough, he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her against him.
Before she could protest, the feel of his whisper against her ear stopped her. “Sanya, you must understand... I know no deeper darkness than when I'm without you.”
