For the longest time since I had my FN FAL rifle. I had always been wanting to get a unique and interesting 7.62x51 NATO rifle, but nothing that stuck out showed up until now. It's no FN SCAR, but it'll do. > = )

This is a BM 59 rifle. A lot of these rifles used to be American M1 Garands, but the Italians rebuilt them into this rifle. With good results. It's in my opinion a major step up from the Garand rifle and possibly a better rifle than the M14...... And I fucking love the M14 so that's saying something!

It's a badass looking rifle, it's also a very smooth rifle, pulling the action back, switching the safety on and off, pulling the trigger. All of it is very smooth and easy on the fingers. I also love how light this rifle is compared to the other Cold War rifles like the CETME, G3 and M14. Than again...... maybe it's a carbine?...... It's barely shorter than my Garand though so I bet it's light weight is credited to the fact it lacks all that wood up front unlike the other rifles. Kinda like the MAS 49/56. xD

I would explain a bit about this rifle, but there is a lot of different info on them, some true and some false. I'll leave it up to the experts to tell me a bit about this rifle rather than trying to riffle though all the info myself.

Instead of a heat lot on the bolt, it just has "P. Beretta" on it.
