I'm not going to lie, sometimes I feel like giving up with drawing Sonic stuff ): I feel I'm not improving at all these days. mehThis is my new character, Kaden the Porcupine. (well, he's not exactly new. I've had him for a very long time but I never gave him a proper design or personality.)
He um.. let's just say he and Aliona have a veery peculiar relationship <: They were childhood friends and such.
Kaden is an aspiring doctor that travels from town to town to learn new medical techniques from elders and other doctors. He is very independent, but rather insecure and has a phobia of failure. And he's rather cocky at times too! |D Something that gets Aliona on her nerves.
There's a lot more about him I could say, but I'll save it up for his reference sheet xD (which I'll be working on as well soon.)
I don't have any specific comments on the picture itself.. except for the background xD the branches were fun to make C: OH OH AND: [link] KYUUBEEY STALK AAAAAAAAAAAA (sorry i just couldn't resist LMAO)
Anyway, hope you all like this C: I'LL TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE (even if it's the 4958743th time I say that)

Maybe it's because Sonic style is very limited? After all, it is based off of someone else's style. There's only so far that you can go with it and still call it Sonic style.
I really like the high contrast in this image. I just love darks against bright glows <3
If I have a cool criticism, than it's that your light source is a little inconsistent in some places for the blue light that produces the glow. It's hard to tell from which direction it's coming from is what I'm trying to say.
