That the Fly Agaric mushroom is the soma in the ancient texts is just a guess, though not a bad one. What the soma actually was remains open to speculation.

Santa Claus is coming! This mushroom is what most of our rituals are about at the time we call Christmas ~ from the colour of Santa's robe to the flying reindeer and everything in between. Lovely rendition.
