Windfall is an obscure DC Heroine who stuck in my memory from years ago, partly due to the adorable looking costume she sported and because she featured in one of the earliest Batman related stories i still have in a rather tattered comic

Wendy Jones was originally part of a metahuman criminal/mercenary group 'The Masters of Disaster' a group led by her abusive, murderous older sister 'New Wave' and all of whom had powers over a particular element, with Wendy having power over air currents. In spite of being able to summon hurricanes, Wendy's gentler nature ill suited the group and when they came into conflict with Batman and the Outsiders, her loyalties began to shift due to a growing affection for the Outsider member 'Halo'.

Windfall/Wendy then joined the Outsiders, proving her heroic nature and living with the Outsiders 'Katanna' and 'Halo' but then dropped out of sight. That was years ago.

I haven't seen the character in anything else and i guess much like Marvels Stratosfire ( i must get around to doing another picture of her ), the character has been forgotten.

Anyway i'm thinking of maybe having the character pop up in a fan story when i eventually finish the current Justice League one. I'm probably going to ditch the mask she usually wears, i haven't decided yet.
