Hello everyone, AdamKop here
Being on the DeviantART for almost a year, I decided to finally start doing commisioned work. I got quite a few questions and requests throughout the year and now I composed a list with prices for my works.
If you have already seen my gallery, you must already know that I am mostly modeling original concepts for Star Wars and Star Trek universe.

Here is a link to my gallery if you didn't see it by now : https://AdamKop.deviantart.com/gallery/

I am open to other types though, so don't be afraid to ask if you are interested in StarGate or Metroid.
All prices are not final thou

Thank you very much for the critique ! I am happy to see that you like the design so much, it is one of my favourite designs that I did lately. I didn't actually think about making it a little softer on the lines, but I think that basing on this design I could probably come up with another ship

I really liked it, its a very logical and stable design, pretty decent lines.

Although I must say the cockpit windows are a bit too large for stellar conditions, all the smaller meteorites banging like super fast bullets and possible close vicinity missile blasts.

Other than that it looks atmosphere-ready and could fly decently if the wings were a tad bit longer.

Also I wanted to know why you made the thruster exists looking inward instead of outward like what we are used to is there a special reason behind it ?

All in all it is one of the best space fighter designs I came across my travels within the DA design groups. well done e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

Thank you a lot for the crititue !
I'm glad to hear that you like the overall shape and design of this ship.
When it comes to windows, I sometimes sacrifice realism and sturdiness of a vessel for its looks, as it sometimes is seen in this universe (B-wing's fragile construction and the Medical Frigate's "spire" ).
As for the exhausts, they are facing straight backwards and they are nothing special

I unlike oganbookman believe in the skill of a pilot, and a rebel pilot knows when to divert power from the lasers to the shields, no meteorites shall be of any real threat. The long almost coffin like cockpit with the cathedral long front windowΒ  is spot on, the colors in this case and the engine part is charryng the weight of the legacy or by a stretch line from nose to end, it could be defined like this: 20%-----------------80% You went with a V-shaped wing, it grows on me, but I have a soft spot for the wing normally common with the X-wing, B-wing, Skyhopper, Headhunter. So I wonder and try to picture how it would look with wings like X-wing'ish But you put a wing on, and still made it look slick.Β  I'd hate to be the guy in the back, limited overall view, but also an engine screaming on each side of him, I think it could be cool if the rear seat and glass screen could be lifted a bit, so that the legs of the pilot would be parallel with the top of the engine... All in all, I love all what you have spend time on. I envy your skills, and share the love of Star Wars. Cheers

pretty cool.

seems like you could have another pair of blaster cannons on it.

AdamKop In reply to MrCharo [2013-10-11 14:18:53 +0000 UTC]

Thanks There are actually four cannons on it (two laser ones on the outside and two ion cannons on the inside of fins) so it should be enough for that kind of ship. There's also a turret on the rear to make it even more capable of dogfighting.Β

Thanks I used to do more sketch-like drawings, but I moved away from that and try to do cleaner drawings, 3D in shading but cartoony in outlines.

its an interesting style.... usually its either the auto designer "marker/ gouache style or CGI... nice ship designs as well.... some of your designs look like they could just as easily fit into the Star Trek universeOR the Star Wars universe... cool

Yeah I try to create my own style after some time
As for the trek and wars universes, I am mostly inspired by these so it shouldn't be a surprise.

I love your designs, although I think this design doesn't look like a Star Wars design to me. The cockpit window is too large in my opinion.

Ah no problem, I had my share of problems with english up until a few years ago as well
I guess the cockpit could use a bit less glass, because it might appear too fragile. Nevertheless, I kinda like the way it turned out and didn't want to change

adam, you ever thought of adding smaller versions of the x-wing' wings? I am using your t-85 design like you said I could in my story; however, I added a smaller version of the x-wing's wings to the design in my story, and called it Minx; which is short for Mini-x. The Minx is my female Luke character's fighter. My character, Lucille; is Luke's female counterpart from an parallel timeline, but was born in the main timeline; as that reality's Padme was that reality's Chosen One, yet; crossed over to the main timeline and got stuck. And, that reality's Padme; was married to Anaka Skywalker, Anakin's female counterpart. That Padme conceived of twin girls; Lucille and Leia, Leia's parallel double.

Both girls were then born in the Prime timeline, so instead of one set of Skywalker twins needing to be separated; there were two.... And, like her mother did during her days as the youngest Queen of Naboo; the other Leia will later act as Leia Prime's double; when situations call for her expertise that Leia Prime doesn't have....

Very cool looking, but one question - if it's a fighter-bomber, where are the bombs? The ship seems more compact than the X-wing & assuming the power plant is between the crew positions & the sensors are in the nose, I don't see anywhere for the ordinance to be stored, unless it's a departure from most star wars designs & the warheads are carried externally - even the imperial star-wing gunboat had enclosed side-mounted pods for the munitions.
That said, it's a fantastic design & if the rear weapon is able to pivot respectably, It'd make an excellent convoy escort ship, protecting vital supply vessels in hostile territory. There is definately a gap in the market for such a vessel, as the rebels/new republic were never able to do escorts (the A-wing & E-wing were originally designed for the role, but were more suited to being an interceptor & space superiority fighter respectively).

AdamKop In reply to BigTallDude [2012-06-22 06:47:37 +0000 UTC]

Bombs are in the bottom rear The ship actually gets wider and taller to the back, so it has a bit more space there. With that said, it's not a bomber as the Y-wing is, because it would be clumsy The idea for externall bomb packs sounds pretty cool as well but I would have to design the ship around those.

The second is Aft between the Engines, seems like a bad place for it to be ass the guy sitting there would get roasted from the heat output, also, is there a back seat gun there? The engine housing make it hard to tell.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AdamKop In reply to Fieryone [2012-06-14 22:17:54 +0000 UTC]

Well, the pilot is a bit pushed in towards the center (you can see his targeting computer through the glass) and on top of that it's Star Wars - TIE Fighter pilots actually sit on their engines

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Fieryone In reply to AdamKop [2012-06-14 22:54:22 +0000 UTC]

Still, looking at the design, the pilot would still be getting pretty hot under the collar, its not a bad design though, but the back seat has a very thing field of vision, I'm guessing there is a gun back there for the second pilot.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AdamKop In reply to Fieryone [2012-06-15 06:52:56 +0000 UTC]

Yeah although I didn't draw it, there is a gun facing the rear. However, the main for the pilot is to take aim with bombs
