Thank you! Well, I describe it as "medium firm," but in actuality, that should theoretically be measured as PSI, just don't have a measuring instrument.
I'm not much a fan of floppy. I've have a plush where the snout collapsed and had to add some more to give it shape, doesn't really have to stand though. Size is another factor. The bigger they are, the firmer they have to be without internal support. However, I'm with you in not liking those awkward lumps. Some are unavoidable, but that doesn't mean they should be visible from the outside, which is something I always consider compared to some other who may not notice. Durability is another aspect for which I aim. I actually just use Poly-Fil Premium Polyester Fiber. ^^ Another plush maker recommended something else that's easier to work with that I might try later. Another stuffing I've used is polyester fiber balls which ironically are pretty hard to come by in the states, (actually I haven't found it in bags or boxes here yet), but it's a bit more pricy that what was recommended to me, and definitely not easier to work with IMO!
Thank you!

I'll pass I don't see why they cost so much if they were max 175 I would got heaps done but 350 to 400 is steep I know a lot of work gos into them but still it's silly money and to make a good plush roughly costs 100 I know I've looked up what u all use its starting to look like I'll never find some to make the heaps of plush I needed ~_~

So, I'm going to assume you know how many hours can go into each one and how much each person should get form one, aside that most never got a direct dime for the time they spend developing their patterns.
Have you tried agatrix? If you're looking to get heaps of plush, why not just hire either a Chinese plush company or gets quotes for small runs form other plush companies? There's plenty of existing characters already on eBay from China, so I'm not quite sure what you're looking for?
