I hope to update this with a sweet inked version in a few days, but I wisely scanned the pencils before potentially ruining it.

This is Echo, Hiro and Sati navigating the swampy world of Pelleon, considerably later down the road from the adventures in the current book. I've actually got this story-line pretty heavily plotted, and a fair amount of the concept imagery done. As is often the case, my creative process tends to start with images, or scenes, with the narrative arriving afterwards to flesh it out. This was the case here, and I did enough work to capture it, despite the fact that it'll be years before I ever work it into the comic. Maybe I'll work it in as a side story; it *is* a pretty fun little yarn (to me, at least ).
