I've never seen mcaroni and cheese like that! That must be interesting. Looks like bread crumbs or croutons.

Mine is traditional soul food southern style of how to make
mac n cheese ,it ALWAYS includes toasted garlic croutons on top!
Although, yours looks hot and yummy as well....

I LOVE soul food and southern food, at least I think I do! Chicken or turkey, mac and cheese, stuffing/dressing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, greens (mustard, collard or turnip) or green bean casserole, cornbread, catfish, maybe mash potatoes! Mm Mmm yum! I'd love for that again!
The stuff in the bowl on the right is fruit salad, or what my great grandmother used to call it, "Heavenly Salad." Only I didn't put any nuts in mine and I poured in the fruit juice i should have left out! Also there's no catfish or mash potatoes in there, I was just listing examples of what goes in southern/soul food!
