Its always a good day as a photograper when you catch something as innocent and as pure as this... i took this shot during the summer at a local beach here in San Diego... This little girl was probably seeing her first sunset... she was just standing there Gazing at the beautiful horizon...Camera: Sony MVC-CD1000

Ah, to recapture the innocence of youth! Well, we can recapture the innocence of youth because that's exactly what you've demonstrated here in very charming fashion. To a young child everything is a revelation, a brand new adventure to be relished and remembered. The real artistry of this photo is that way you contrasted the colorful, sunlit little girl against the sepia-toned setting. It distinguishes her as the focal point much more effectively than if you had blended her into the common scheme and relied on her proximity to bring her forward. The result is that I feel as if I'm inside her thoughts and I'm able to share her sense of wonder. She's a valentine addressed to the human race, sent to remind us that we weren't always so cynical and jaded, that there's true beauty in the simple, ordinary, everyday slices of life that we see but we don't see, and that we're in serious danger of losing track what truly makes our lives beautiful.

Oh wow babe....oh wow.
I actually like the people in the background. It gives the little girl a very enraptured feel...as though sh's totally spellbound by the setting sun as the viewer is equally spellbound by her portrayed innocence and vibrance in a world that is all too dull and monotonous.
