[link]This is an illustration i did for stardrift empires nova, a new universe in stardrift empires. check it out if you get a chance. [link]
this is a new building which can hold a larger quantity of resources than the base storage warehouses. to aid with perspective, i created a model of the hallway in sketchup, then made the patterns on the walls, floor, ceiling with some shape brushes and the transform tool. it was an interesting learning experience for that. made it go a lot faster on what otherwise would have been extremely tedious.
