Another high school art project. From memory, the task was something along the lines of "Draw a picture that actually has, you know, meaning behind it. Seriously guys, no more pictures of Jesus of Lara Croft". I knew a lot of troubled people in high school, so I chose to explore the culture of masking problems behind products or socially acceptable addictions. It's something that I think is taught in developed society from a young age - it doesn't matter that you feel lonely, so long as you have the right kind of doll.

That, and I had to draw so many fucking bottles in my high school art classes that I was damn well going to make sure they got used for something.
