Con sketch of Wolverine. I pretty much never draw this character, and this is the first time I've ever drawn one I was actually happy with. He's a tough little bastard to get right. I still think there are parts of him I didn't do as well as I wanted, but he's close enough.

Yeah, he was a huge influence on me as you can probably tell. Particularly his Steampunk and Generation X stuff.

So many details about this one that I like, but I think I'm most impressed by the perspective on this one. Something about the low angle vs. the slope of the hill. He looks very bad-ass.

I was originally going to put the corpse of a Wendigo behind him. Changed my mind. You can imagine one down the slope, though - that's why he has all the tooth- and claw-marks on him.

Scraggly winter trees are the easiest to draw, and they feel great and moody.

We were in Podcast Alley with the Comic Geek Speak guys. But then, we heard that it was really hard to find ANYBODY at that show. Apparently the Artist Alley organization was a mess.

Ahhhhhhh I was at the Big Kev's Geek Stuff booth (for small stretches of time)... I wasn't allowed to be near you guys. haha. Ah well. Next year or what ever I might have a table... if I get a comic of my own going.
