Just an idea I had for my own boss. (I don't see her actually commanding anyone though)her name is Codi.

the arms come out of the pack on her back and are made of solid plasma....or whatever...(im not a scientist ok.) anyway... The entire setup is connected to her mind but its completely disconnected from her body (meaning that even if you separate her from the pack she can still control them) they are great for lifting and breaking things. Not much else. So if she needs to handle things a bit more delicately she calls on one or all of her three drones. There tasks range from writing letters to stunning opponents during battles.
personality wise, she's not talkative but not emotionless. She's mostly thought as serious but it isn't uncommon to catch her laughing or blushing.
