So, I don't have time to finish it now but I thought I'd upload my WIP of Jefferson's evolved form. I think this is as far as he's going to wind up evolving during the tourney (mostly because I like his floofy tail and alakazam doesn't have one) Also, can you say messy sketches? No wonder I don't post them very often.Kadabra are supposed to be more aggressive than abra, and since I imagine they didn't start standing on two legs until after they spent a lot of time interacting with people I wanted to keep him looking a little more feral and animal like despite their humanoid body type classification in the pokedex. He uses his tail to prop himself up and balance when standing on his hind legs.
Needless to say Iris' job with this fella just got harder.

I will never look at a Kadabra the same way. Its these kind of interpretations that is helping me fall back into love with pokemon

I think after all this time of being a fan of the pokemon series, its great to see how they are interpreted by others who have grown up with the same pokemon. Its refreshing, fun and makes me want to play the games over again to re imagine the adventures I had before. Good on ya!

Thanks! Twas super fun to design. I'm especially excited now that Jefferson gets to have actual psychic attacks aside from his teleport and thunder punch abilities
Now if only I could find an Alakazam design I actually like. It's not as fun when it doesn't have a floofy tail like the other two XD

Me too-it's a fun one. A part of me wishes the designers pushed it a little more. Then again it just means I get to play with how I want to make them look
