Sorry, was I too vague?

I was trying to say that it's a nice idea for a mermaid picture, but there's so many squiggly lines from the hair and fins and blue blotches that they overshadow the rest of the picture and make things look rather messy. Really the only definable part I get is the green tail, but that alone can't carry the picture.
Though I'm not a painter in any sense, perhaps simplifying the hair and fins a little would help next time.

i was trying to make it look messy. that's why there's drips and stuff. Do you think the tail being too defined doesn't match with the whole picture? because i want a messy crazy look.

Well, if crazy and crazy is what you want, then I can't advise you on that. So I'll bow out here.
It's good to know, though, that you had that intent when you made it crazy and messy; I initially thought you were being sloppy.

Most unknown artists feel that way.

The more groups you post your art to, the more exposure you will get. When I like a picture I've seen, I immediately send it to the relevant groups I'm in. I like exposing to others what I find interesting. But I also expect others to do the same when they see the stuff that I make as well.

thanks ive sorta been ignoring my DA. i've had it for like what 6 years now? i also dont update too often hahaha i should really do that. thanks for the advice ill check out more groups
