what font did you use for systemfont?
Also I cannot seem to get powerline to show the fonts so i end up with squares

GTK Theme : Roboto
Terminal Font : Inconsolata
Urxvt & Uxterm don't support powerline.
Also, You can try to install nerd-font-complete package.
It contains several popular monospace fonts in pre-patched condition. My favorite is 'mplus Nerd Font'. Currently I'm using that font for my terminal.
I have pushed it to my Github, The link is available in the description above. Just open the Xresources file, or open -/.config/termite/config if You are using termite.

I have no any special config.
I use resources those are preinstalled in Archlabs.
The theme for GTK & Openbox is Arc-Froly-Dark,
You can get it from here aur.archlinux.org/packages/arc…
