Hello there my Little Fellows (:Here you can see my entry for the Nordic Art and Graphic Challenge 2008 hosted by Addictive Hobby .
I've decided to show my very own vision of goddess Freya since she's my favourite in a bunch of gods and goddesses from those regions.

I like the color scheme, it's nicely blended - I swore this was a pencil and/or watercolor piece! Nice choice with the heavy outlines and light under shading. I also really like how you went from great detail in the figure to very rough, faded-out sketching at the bottom. Kinda of symbolic of a god-like quality: appearing to be physical, but actually being beyond the physical world. There's something a little odd about the arm, but VERY nicely done overall!

She looks amazing! I really liked her outfit, ornaments and all those feathers and there's this animal she's petting... Good luck with the contest too! I'm a bit curious have you used any reference for her image/clothing maybe like ancient pictures about her?
