Description It's an illustration I did for a publishers call for artists. I didn't get anything in return but it's important to always try and do your best, don't you think? Anyway - I've got a pretty piece to put in my portfolio now.

The idea is based on Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens by J. M. Barrie which I liked a lot! Have you read it? It's available for free in Gutenberg Project with beautiful illustrations by Arthur Rackham

I agree! This way you'll always be pleased with your own efforts and results, which is at times one of the highest forms of satisfaction. Plus, you never know who might see it and where it may lead. So it's always a good idea to put your best work forward.
