Description
As promised, a brand new painting of Morgan (as you’ve never seen him before)!
This was a speedpaint idea that turned into something much more over the course of a week, and pushed me to practice anatomy, lighting and perspective, among other things. I saw this on your site and it's still just a beautiful something about this painting strikes me, the composition, the lighting, Morgan's face they all seem so serene and calm, the cat adds something to the peice as well this is my favroit Morgan painting you've done so far I'm always inspired by your work it's amazing

This is so beautiful. There is something quite special about an artwork that incorporates so many elements into it. The soft realism of the skin contrasted by the lines (scars?), the rush of wings, the flowing hair, the connection between the Human (or at least human-like) element and the natural one seen in the cat. And then the soft glow of the background bringing it all together.
There are notes of serenity, gentleness, grace, with a hint of serious nature, all winding together to create a stunning, breath-taking image. It is quite rare that a single work of art impacts me this much, but it goes to show just how much work you put into this.
