Stephanie headed back into Club. She heard the sounds of kerfuffle before she even pulled back the curtain divide. There was vodka-head all right, but far from waltzing out of the galley, with an armful of miniatures and a ‘stop-me-if-you-can-stewardess’ look on his smug features, he was actually in all sorts of trouble. Cynthia was already here and in typical fashion had taken decisive action. The gasping drunk was being hauled back from the galley by the flight attendant, who had the jerk in an extremely firm neck lock. Cynthia looked over her victim’s shoulder at Stephanie, her eyes shining with joy and excitement. “Hi, boss!” the young woman called out cheerily as dozy passengers rubbed their eyes at the scene. “Could you page Julie? I think we need to get Mr Boozer here tied up! Yes, for your own good, sir!”
Stephanie couldn’t help but smile as she reached for the crew intercom. Good old Cynthia, she reflected. The only stewardess on board that actually LIKED it when passengers kicked off!
