Story Notes:

1. In panel #1, Caramine should sound moderately incredulous. Imagine someone stifling a much stronger reaction and you get close.
2. Panel #2 is a tangent conversation purposely NOT explained in this story. It shows that Caramine and Kristina have a partially shared background.
3. The pause in panel #2 could have a small SFX with Caramine sipping her glass. The abrupt change of subject is intended to convey an unspoken point that Caramine doesn't see Ian the same way... and doesn't want to say so.
4. Panel #3 continues with Caramine trying to bring the story back to the action being portrayed.
5. The Kristina walking by in panel #3 should come in from O.S. right and appear to be walking slightly above the glowing, cloudy, fuming liquid(?). Caramine and the narrating Kristina watch her walk by.
