Due to many, many people requesting it over the years, here's my tutorial on how I do my makeup when cosplaying a guy with scruff. Please ignore any typos, I didn't have a chance to go through and fix everything and I'll probably go back later with any fix-ups I find.For examples of this tutorial in effect, here are some of my past cosplays that use these techniques:

Hopefully I can still get some help on this: I'm working on a Blond!Master cosplay and I need to do the stubble. Your method looks like it will work wonders (I tried to use hair but it ended badly and I don't wish to relive that especially for a Con) but I'm wondering about the powder; I tried looking and I haven't found any powder sealants. Is translucent powder in general the same thing? I don't wish to skip the sealing step since I'll be at a con all day in costume and it would be bad for the stubble to start to smear or come off XD
Anyway thanks for making this tutorial in general, especially since it makes it so simple for doing "man-make-up" XD

Translucent powder can definitely be used in the same way, though it tends to not be quite as strong as the powder made to specifically seal makeup. It can work in a pinch, though it usually adds a tint to the makeup that I don't personally care for. Here is where I buy mine from:Β www.frendsbeauty.com/ben-nye-fβ¦
