Oh look, I can artz!

Lazy background is lazy, but I don't really care, cuz look! I drew a Wookiee! Yay!

I've been kinda sketching as the motivation takes me and time allows and running with that. Some things turn into stuff. Like this. This was pretty much a sketch run wild quasi-illustrating a scene from one of my vignettes (I write most of my down-time these days).

Part of Taloombray's (my silver Wookiee character) enslavement involved an owner who had a kid; Alec. Both her parents and Carson—the Chev house steward to the family—are too busy to pay as much attention to Alec as is likely ideal, so she attaches herself to the literal captive audience of her father's slaves. While Carson pointedly does not like furry things in his household, he is beholden to helping the little mistress learn things. This time, Alec wanted to learn to sew. So Taloombray got a vest out of it, to which his general reaction is or some such.

In writing the scene, I also came to the conclusion Alec either has the most god-awful color sense or is perhaps color anomalous... because who doesn't like yellow and orange paisley with sateen magenta lining?
