Description Despite the loss of an arm, Vvolqbraun is not one to let the younger males outclass him when it comes to one of the mainstays of centaurian life; namely shows of physical prowess (the other three pillars are fighting, drinking, and sex). So here he is, showing off his ability to hurl a javelin.

this is amazing...but what DID happen to his arm? Anywho, I have seen half horse half man obviously (centaur) but never half bull half man. Did you make them up yourself, or is it based a mythological creature?

The 'real' reason he doesn't have an arm is because on my original art i just stopped drawing it. The story reason he doesn't have one is because it got cut off is some battle or other.

He is called a bucentar. I didn't make them up but they are apparently rare, according to the mythology book I'm using.

now if a minotaur's kid was riding his back, it would get eleven stars out of five. As it is, I'll give it five. Excellent anatomy (that even looks like a realistic amputated arm stub!)

thank you! I always try to make my fictional anatomy as plausible as possible, so you can imagine that i really love it whan others notice it... hehe.

I do my best too, but I really need to use more models. In the end, I tend to make "improvements" on the lord's creatures, and keep them when I get attached to them ^_^' though I really need to stop drawing cats with plantigrade front feet...

Hello...

First... love this guy, but you mention he's a centarurian, as in a Centaur?
To me, his body is that of a powerful bull. His tail is not one of a horse, but a bull's. So, he would be more classified as a Bulltaur. Still... a nice piece.

Cheers!

"centaurian" as in 'of centaurs'. Technically, he is a bucentaur, but, according to what very little I've been able to find on them mythologically-wise, they are so rare as compared to normal centaurs that they don't have a culture of their own and generally are adopted into a (horse) centaur tribe. As such, he would still live life by centaurian standards and all that.

That is awesome, i love the shading effects on the musle definition and hoofs, and the end of the tail too.

Thanks... I take great lengths to make what I draw look as realistic/plausable as possible, especially given that so much that I draw is so unrealistic.
