ROFL. I actually ran into a young woman wearing Slytherin shirt in Hobby Lobby one day not too long ago. I was there with my mom as she was asking my help with color themes and such for a project she was working on, and we struck up a several minute long conversation. She seemed about my age and we had fun geeking out.
Finally, she asked what house I would be sorted into, and I mentioned Ravenclaw, she smarted back with something along the lines of, "Oh, I'm sorry, you're probably one of the ones I would pick on then," with this smirk. I had to retort with, "Yes, but some Ravens actually do know how to hold their own." and we got to discussing the whys and she said I MIGHT have some slytherin in me after all, and I just had to laugh. My mom just rolled her eyes and walked away as the two of us geeked out for a minute.

Nice! There's a girl who sits behind me in my school's free period who wears a Slytherin shirt a lot, and we've talked so much about Harry Potter XD I've got a lot of Slytherin in me, it seems that in general I'm Slytherin if not Ravenclaw.

Haha, that's awesome! That girl pretty much ended up agreeing that I would be pretty much a Ravenclaw, but definitely didn't have any Griffindor in me whatsoever, so we could have gotten along fairly well, once overcoming the house status. XD
ROFL. My mother HATES the series. XD She'll call sometimes, "What are you doing?" "...um, watching Harry Potter." I get the, you're watching that again, after how many times HAVE you seen each of those movies, and I don't know why you like them so much sort of thing. Haha, I haven't told her that the appeal behind it all is that the fanfics I usually read are generally mature slash. XD Somethings are just BEST left UNSAID.

That's cool that you can enjoy that with her. XD my mom and I share the love of novels together though, so it's cool that we pass books back and forth. I like the ones that are a bit scarier, and she reads more action/suspense novels, but we both agree that either of those are better than the smutty harlequin romance novels and western crap my grandmother reads. Hah, my grandma's into Civil War history and Biographies XD My mom likes art history books, and just history books. I'm the sci-fi fantasy person, who likes horror mixed in. But I share that with my dad, along with a love of old movies. My whole family's a group of bookworms, though LOL

My brother is the type to sit infront of the TV with a remote in his hand. ROFL, my mom used to bug me because it seemed that the ONLY channel I ever watched was actually the community bulletin channel. All it had, as these blue green and red boxes that scrolled different current events, lost/found pet ads, weather and such. But, it had one of the really popular music stations on it, while I read.
"Why don't you just turn on the radio?" When I was younger I actually did have a valid excuse, as my braces interfered with the signal, and listening through the TV didn't have to worry about that.

That's my bro for you. Only he sits in front of my dad's computer and plays World of Warcraft for hours, with Disney Channel playing in the background. He always wants to be on the computer I'm using. If I'm using the online textbook on my mom's computer, he whines about how he wants to play Age of Mythology or one of his other online games that he can only play on there until I get off. And then if I'm on my dad's computer, he whines about how he wants to play World of Warcraft, Plants vs. Zombies or some other online game. I would kick him off on the other online games, but he says, and I quote, "Dad's computer is set up for the left hand, and I'm so used to playing left handed on this game that I can't play it right on any right handed computer." It's really a pain. The only place he won't try to steal a computer from me is on my Grandma's dinosaur, and my personal laptop. Quite the pain in the butt at times.
That sucks! I have braces, but nothing like that! I listen to playlist.com, my iPod, or some of the classic rock/indie rock radio stations here. Ugh, that stinks. I would die with braces like that!

ROFL, you have to understand that I had braces for five years, but that was starting WAY WAY back in about... year 1996. XD Only portable thing we had back then WERE pretty much either casset tapes or AM/FM radios. XD CD's still weren't too popular until a few years later.

ROFL! My first car had an 8 track player in it, babe. XD Sure it was old, but it was one of those things that my friends thought was really cool, vintage sort of crap! When we bought the car, we found two hole boxes of 8 tracks in the trunk that came with it.

Haha, my best friend actually has a vinyl record player! We listen to it sometimes, but some of the records are getting harder to keep, seeing as those DO wear out over time, and you can't really replace them like you could burn a CD or something anymore. XD

Truth be told, everyone feels a bit insecure about their appearance every once in a while. I know I have. Don't always try to compare yourself with others - everyone in the whole wide world has a unique appearance - and you won't be able to see the beauty in yourself! Swirls, stripes, spots, rings, freckles, every single one of these is special in its own way. Don't think about what you might not like so much, but rather think about all the beautiful things about yourself! For example, the way your gorgeous eyes compliment those cute polka-dots and adorable freckles!
I'm sure that with a heart as sweet as yours, and with markings of equal beauty, you'll be able to show the world just how pretty you are!
