my dad loves this sort of thing we have jigsaw puzzels in very similar style, with lots happening and very confusing, this would make an excellent one because of its bright vivid colours.

So much going on, this is great to see. So much art nowdays is so simplistic, every now and then its good to get a real treat for the eyes...

Aw, you're way too nice. As to the latter part of yr post -- I've been posting free zines to people who have requested them through this page. They're not much to look at, i'm afraid (little photocopied books sewn together), but note me if you're interested.

The ink and the paper may be cheap, but the acid is obviously top-notch.

If they are so cheap on the materials, why don't they just get you to do it digitally? Wouldn't that be a whole lot cheaper?

What do these actually get used for - are they for kids books or as promos?

It would be a helluva lot cheaper, but the day my boss realises this is the day I get shown the door I still can't get my head around computer graphics (although I take it that buying a decent computer is probably an important initial step...), and I've been lucky enough to find the last company in town where traditional materials are still the go. That the said traditional materials are rubbish and impede my progress at every step is annoying but better than being unemployed!
